- Publishing reviews — your review (without your email) appears on the public business profile.
- Verification — confirming a review follows a real purchase or support contact.
- Safety — screening for spam, fraud and abuse before publishing.
- Communication — the single review invitation, sent from the store’s support address.
3. What is public
Your review text, rating, chosen display name, the product, a verified-purchase badge and the date are public. Your email address is never shown publicly.
4. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time. When you ask us to delete a review we remove it or anonymise it. Email legal@theshopinion.com.
5. Data retention & security
We keep review data while it is useful to shoppers and the store, and secure it in line with industry standards. Reviewer emails are stored privately and removed on request.
