1. Using The Shopinion
The Shopinion is an independent review platform. Reviews are invitation-based and follow a real purchase or support contact. You agree to use the platform honestly and lawfully.
2. Your reviews
- Your review must reflect your genuine experience.
- You keep ownership of what you write and grant us a licence to display it on the platform.
- No unlawful, hateful, defamatory or personal-data-revealing content.
- You may be honest and critical — negative reviews are welcome when truthful.
3. Moderation
We screen reviews for spam, fraud and abuse before they go live. We never remove a review for being negative. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
4. For businesses
Stores may reply publicly to reviews and invite customers to review. Businesses must not offer rewards conditional on a positive rating, and must not attempt to suppress honest feedback.
5. Rewards
Where a store offers a thank-you, it is offered to every reviewer regardless of what they write. Rewards are never tied to the rating or sentiment of a review.
6. Disclaimers & liability
Reviews reflect the opinions of their authors, not The Shopinion. The platform is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
